Day Process Logistics Technician (Agency) M/F/D

Position Context:

As a Day Process Logistics Technician, you will report directly to the Day Process Supervisor and will be in charge of supporting plant operations by facilitating the flow of bulk and packaged materials on and off the site. In addition you will support the shift teams in some processing activities, e.g. Drumming and de-drumming, filtration and blending. 

Main tasks :

Check daily tanker movements against the daily movements schedule; cross referencing order numbers and products

Check conditions and weights of road barrels to ensure cleanliness and compliance with loading procedures

Check and complete effluent plant tasks as per procedures

Loading and unloading of road barrels and ensuring that they are labelled correctly before leaving site

Operating supporting process units

Complete the drumming and de-drumming of IBCs and drums

Follow Bulk Transfer Operating Discipline adhering to Line Integrity Check procedures

Required skills :

Must have an outstanding approach to personal safety as well as the safety of others

Must be PC literate

The ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment is essential

Good organisational and planning skills

The ability to work on multiple tasks at one time

The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines with minimal supervision

Good attention to detail and accuracy

Must be eligible to work in the UK

Experience in the Chemical Industry preferred
