To supervise all day process activities (Drumline & Tanker Loading/Off-Loading) and ensure that they are executed safely and efficiently to agreed work plans, safety standards and operating procedures.
Liaise with Plant Managers to prioritise activities with input from Supply Chain
Review daily work list and allocate labour to prepare for and carry out all day process activities
Ensure daily activities are prioritised and all necessary tasks are completed to an agreed time scale
Attend morning and afternoon planning meeting
Ensure the Day Process team is adequately resourced at all times
Liaise with Operations/Supply Chain to ensure the tanker schedule requirements are fully met
Respond to and solve operational problems associated with Day Process Team activities
Support the Operations Management Team to ensure the site/plant objectives are achieved.
Ensure MOC’s are reviewed and acknowledged by the team
Stock check management (includes monthly stocks, stock counts, site storage coordination and arranging for waste disposal of packaged items)
Assist investigations into unplanned events
Develop and monitor day process related procedures
Provide on-going instruction and training for new and existing day process operators
To be the Assessor for day process knowledge/performance validation and assess technicians to ensure they have the right level of competence to perform their role
Performance Management mentoring of the day process team

- Self-driven and motivated to achieve
- Good communication skills both within and outside of the department
