Turku site is a chemical company specialized in manufacturing pharmaceuticals for the pharmaceutical industry.
We were the first in Finland to start manufacturing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients on a commercial scale in 1960. Our facilities in Turku meet high-quality cGMP requirements with our 120 employees.
Our activities include e.g. process development, production and quality assurance. Most of our production is export based. Our main export areas are USA, Europe and Japan.

Site EHS Engineer M/F/D

Position Context:

EHS department needs a new person due to retirement in the near future.

Main tasks :

• Ensuring the safety of operations from an EHS perspective.

• Implementing EHS practices, guidelines and processes, and life cycle management.

• Managing external and internal stakeholders: training and support in Finnish or English.

• Assessing safety risks and preparing and coordinating various equipment and process risk assessments (e.g. PHA, HAZOP, FMECA), and participating in the change management process.

• Ensuring compliance with EHS requirements and monitoring legislation and internal and external standards on your part.

Required skills :

• Appropriate education in technical or chemical fields (bachelor or master's degree).

• Experience in the process industry, experience in the pharmaceutical industry is considered an advantage.

• Systematic working methods and documentation skills.

• Excellent cooperation skills with different stakeholders.

• Pragmatic in problem-solving situations.

• Self-initiative and open-minded attitude.

• Fluent in English and Finnish.
