Sr. Facilities Engineer M/F/D

Position Context:

In this role you will join a team of local engineers, focused on providing engineering support to the site systems and process equipment across the site.

Main tasks :

Your role will require close interaction with other departments including Engineering, QA, HSE, Operations, Planning, and process area managers and leads to deliver efficient execution of the asset project programs. The scope of this role is wide and varied including asset management from justification through life cycle, equipment trouble shooting, system improvements / upgrades, engineering plant documentation and drawings, project design and management and operational excellence and driving execution to meet dept. metrics. In this role you will provide engineering expertise in further developing different facility and equipment programs and will be key to providing day to day engineering continuity & technical support for equipment issues. You will support the successful execution of key department programs and activities across all areas of the site, you will have responsibility for assigned expense and project budgets and accountability.

 

  • Maintain the compliance and validation state of equipment and ensure they are continually in a state of “Audit Readiness”
  • Ensure compliance with all global engineering requirements as related to equipment / facilities
  • Utilize technical knowledge to assist in determining root cause of equipment failures and facilitate corrective actions
  • Initiate and execute deviations, change controls and CAPA’s
  • Investigate and document procedural and operational deviations
  • Create, modify, and track change control documentation to manufacturing equipment and systems
  • Other duties as assigned

Required skills :

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required e.g., Automation, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Electrical
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience Minimum of 3 years’ experience in facility or maintenance engineering teams, preferably in manufacturing GMP environment
  • Knowledge and experience of CMMS systems is essential, ideally SAP
  • Ability to build and maintain strong organizational skills
